Julie Anderson began Physical Justice as a sole proprietor massage therapy and personal training business over 34 years ago in Austin, Texas.
In 1995, Julie relocated to Central Oregon and, in 2009, opened the House of Healing on 4th and Greenwood Avenue, in Redmond. Julie serves a wide range of clientele, including those with serious physical issues and disabilities – from patients injured in MVA (motor vehicle accidents) to those moving through athletic mishaps and/or post-surgical rehabilitation, and even patients under the Hospice of Redmond umbrella of “Transitions” during end of life care.
Julie specializes in treatment based deep tissue therapy, and therefore, works with many elite athletes – from the Crossfit and Olympic weightlifting communities, marathon runners, mountaineers, as well as the everyday athletes of beautiful Central Oregon.
Having a “Mama’s heart”, Julie enjoys working with pregnant mothers, young children, special needs clients, as well as health-minded folks seeking to feel and move better, adding massage as part of a well rounded wellness and maintenance program. She has worked with people of all ages, from infants as young as 6 weeks old to folks well into their 90’s. Massage really is for everyone. ????
When Julie is not in the office, you may find her atop a butte or mountain, ministering to those in need of prayer and various inner healing, or home tending to her beekeeping hobby. While an avid weight lifter in the 80’s and 90’s, she recently switched to Crossfit at Redmond’s premiere Crossfit Magnify, owned by her oldest, Cody Anderson (10th in the world CrossFit Games in 2018). Her husband, Tom, and other 2 sons, Jesse and Levi, are also dedicated to health and fitness through Crossfit as well as racquetball, tennis and hiking beautiful Oregon – the more elevation, the better!
